SK C&C (www.skcc.com) announced that the completion briefing for the implementation of NH (Nonghyup) Bank’s next generation e-financial system was held at NH Bank corporate headquarters in Seoul March 27. Some 100 key staffers of SK C&C and NH, including Executive Vice President Cho Young-ho, head of IT Service Business, Senior Vice President Lee Ki-yeol, head of Strategic Business at SK C&C, Vice President Min Kyung-won of NH, and Vice President Shin Seung-jin, head of IT Division at NH, were in attendance.

At the briefing, SK C&C received an appreciation plaque from NH for its successful implementation of the system.

SK C&C built a multi-channel environment for NH, integrating all customer channels, including mobile and online channels, telebanking, and call centers, into a single contact point through NEXCORE Smart Web Platform.

NEXCORE Smart Web Platform, which is a single-source development platform, provides an open banking environment, through which identical financial services are provided regardless of the types of OSs or devices customers are using, such as smartphones, tablet PCs, and desktop PCs. The platform also supports responsive web design, allowing automatic menu configuration and screen size adjustment for an optimal viewing experience.

The newly built system also provides easier access to major banking sites – e.g. homepages and internet and mobile banking sites – for people with disabilities, including visual or other physical impairments, to enjoy various banking services. In addition, the system come with global banking services supporting nine different foreign languages – e.g. English, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian, Indonesian, and Mongolian – for people with Korean as a second language.

Executive Vice President Cho at SK C&C said, “NH customers can now use financial services at anytime, anywhere, through virtually all devices.” Cho also added, “We will find new markets for the next generation e-financial services that encompass internet and mobile services altogether.”
